Jennifer Lopez announced the release date of her new single today and her fans wasted no time in congratulating her. López recorded the song Ni tu ni yo, together with the group Gente de Zona with whom he was seen recording the video days ago. Without detracting from the song, what really impressed fans was the yellow outfit the singer is wearing in the photo she uploaded to Instagram announcing the news.
The sexy suit, with transparencies, a pronounced front opening and a bulky cape, is the same one we will see her with in the video of this subject, recorded in Isla Morada, in Florida. The designer in charge of creating the spectacular piece that is giving so much to talk about was designer Michael Costello, who feels very grateful for the trust that the artist has placed in him.
“It was a great dream to work with Jlo. Over the years we have not only cultivated a beautiful relationship creating some of her most iconic looks, but also a wonderful friendship, the designer exclusively told People in Spanish. “Everything Jlo does is spectacular, dynamic and sexy. I have a lot of respect for the professionalism she shows in managing all aspects of her business with her team to make sure that everything stays as she wants.”
Costello is very proud of the dress he created for the artist's new video and assures that to design it he was inspired by the model Veruschka, who caused a sensation in the 60s.
“The yellow caped suit was something I worked on alongside Rob Zangardi, Jlo's main stylist. We wanted to make sure that what we created had an aesthetic and material that could go with the movement that she needed for the video,”she explained. “I imagined something out of this world and super fabulous. When I saw the images in the video, I was very proud of the sure way in which she wore it.”
The truth is that the singer looks amazing with this design. Now it only remains to wait for the video to be released to see the striking suit in total splendor.
