For Helen Ochoa, being about to release a single and having to make a new music video not only means a lot of work but also the time to make a change in her appearance. And yes it was a drastic change! The Mexican regional music singer left her characteristic black mane to show off a beautiful blonde color.

“I've always had long, dark hair and I was a little bit afraid of suddenly changing it. This year we decided to [do] something very drastic,”says the artist in a video she sent us. “I am loving it. Still in the living room it gave me a little bit of uncertainty about how it is going to look, how I am going to feel and the truth is that I feel so good”.

In charge of making this change was the celebrity stylist Alexander Flores, who in the last three years has been in charge of taking care of Ochoa's mane. This time he performed the balayage technique with which he undoubtedly looks spectacular.

"I have never had such a drastic change in my hair, but what they say is that blondes have more fun, [because] I am very happy with this new look," says the Mexican singer. "Sometimes a change is necessary to remind us that life is to enjoy it."

The singer's new single, De mi enamórate, premieres in late July.
