Seven years after Jenni Rivera's death, Ninel Conde surprised everyone by revealing that, a week before the singer's death, she used the same aircraft where the fatal accident occurred. The actress confessed that she had a good relationship with the Diva de la Banda.
“Before that accident happened, I traveled on that plane. On that same plane,”Conde revealed to the American television program Suelta la Sopa (Telemundo). “They were suppliers to the same company that later disappeared. They also owed me money because I had bought flight hours in advance.”
The also singer explained what her experience was in said transport and assured that "that plane, really, had flaws" on a mechanical level.
"That day we traveled, the plane door had a hard time closing it," he explained. “We [clients] don't know if they are old or not; They can put on good clothes, everything is fine, but you don't know that because they have everything made up, but you don't know the machine; the door system, it took a long time to close it. In fact I remember that we started getting late and I said 'what's wrong?' Because one is, as always, on the phone, and you don't realize it, and when he saw that we weren't starting it was because he didn't close the door; then, yes, they managed to close it and we left”.
Ninel Conde also announced that shortly before the death of Jenni Rivera they had a conversation where the interpreter of "The great lady" told her how she was on a personal level.
"I had the opportunity to talk to her [Jenni Rivera]," he said. "She was very sad and she didn't want to feel like this."
