In his controversy with the urban artist David Sánchez Badillo Tempo, the singer René Pérez Joglar, Resident, decided to send him a message with a theme entitled "My apologies", which for now what he has managed to do is open up another controversy with activists in favor of the autistic children.

"To the bald little rappers, elitist hip hop. I have them nodding like autistic children,”says Pérez in the single against Tempo, with whom he has an artistic dispute about reggaeton. “My rhymes are Down syndrome. They are abnormal. Leaving the MC's in a coma like vegetables."

For these words, the Autism Alliance of Puerto Rico claimed on Twitter an apology from the ex-vocalist of Calle 13 for how he used the reference to those affected by those disorders. “Your inclusion of the word autism and Down syndrome in your tiraera a Tempo is wrong. We demand a public apology”, was the message sent by the entity.

Instead of an apology, Pérez responded by trying to clarify that his words were not an affront to those affected by those disorders.

“Being an autistic child and 'nodding' is not an insult, it is a reality, our reality. It tells you. One diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and 25 Grammys,”replied the rapper, also via Twitter.

The video of "My Apologies" was released a few hours ago and on YouTube it already has more than 600,000 views, adding its different versions.

Out of the controversies, Residente prepares to hold his first solo concert on August 8 in New York, where he will perform some of the 13 songs included on the album with which he begins his new stage off Calle 13.
