Spring is here, the ideal time to play with your makeup and wear stronger and more striking lipsticks. Now, there are so many colors, formulas and trends that sometimes we do not know how to apply them or what are the tones that most favor our skin color. We invited Anneliese Tieck, Colombian makeup artist for catwalk models and celebrities like Thalía, to share with us her best tips for showing off fabulous lips.

"Before doing a lip, I always apply a highlighter, either creamy or powder, to the top of the lip because that gives us a feeling that the lip is a little bit bigger," explains the expert. "After I have applied [the illuminator] I continue to put the color."
