Since Bárbara Palacios won the Miss Universe crown in 1986, in her turquoise blue dress adorned with two dragonflies, this insect has become one of the protagonists of the Venezuelan's career.
Now, with the desire to inspire others, Palacios - who was among the 25 Powerful People in Spanish in 2014 - has teamed up with Venezuelan designer Viviana Gabeiras to create a collection based on this ethereal little animal, whose life cycle the Former beauty queen compares with human evolution.
The line named Fly Dragonfly, features pieces with fluid lines, such as flared camisoles, dresses and pants, as well as flattering tops with wide sleeves, in cheerful colors such as yellow, turquoise or magenta, and a multicolored dragonfly print. The pieces are 100% made in the studio that the designer has in Miami and Palacios herself is the protagonist of the collection's lookbook.
