The Louis Vuitton Cruise 2017 collection parade in Rio de Janeiro was quite an experience.
The long-awaited event took place in the spectacular facilities of the Contemporary Art Museum located on a cliff in the city of Niteroi, from where guests could appreciate a beautiful view of the sea and the imposing Sugar Loaf.
Among the nearly 500 guests were singer Zendaya, Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio, and actors Catherine Deneuve and Jaden Smith.
Dressed in colorful outfits that evoked the style of the streets of this great city, the designs worn by the models made allegory of the upcoming Olympic Games to be held in that city next August.
"Brazil is color, it is positivism, it is the future," said Michael Burke, president of the fashion house, in an interview. “This was more than a fashion show. It was showing our love for this country, showing our appreciation and giving something back.”
The models, who paraded down the long ramp of the museum to where the guests were, wore neoprene dresses with cutouts, flirty and colorful short dresses and pieces of athletic air, as well as striking bags with the initial Lous Vuitton insignia. and comfortable flat sandals.
After the parade, the guests enjoyed a private party where they put their dance skills to the test to the rhythm of samba.
