The cosmetics company MAC is preparing to launch the long-awaited collection in honor of Texan singer Selena.
The special line called Selena, which will go on sale in October, is inspired by fans of the late singer and was curated by her sister Suzette Quintanilla.
"She wanted the colors to be according to her personality and what she was wearing on stage," said Suzette Quintanilla in a press release. “She has been gone for 21 years and it is incredible that this collaboration is happening [now].
Last March it was more than two decades since Selena's tragic death and there were countless signs of affection on social networks from her fans.
"That only shows the love of her fans even though she already left. That her music still lives and her legacy has grown tremendously since her death”, explains the singer's sister. "It is a great honor that MAC has collaborated under the name of Selena and her fans."

MAC Announces Out Of This World Collection
MAC Cosmetics will be releasing a Star Trek collection with 25 different items. The line will include lipstick, lipglass, pressed pigment eye shadow and studio nail lacquer. From the visuals, fans could expect lots of outer space sparkle and colors inspired by the female characters.
