NFL star Víctor Cruz spoke to People en Español at the launch of Sports Illustrated's Fashionable 50 edition about his versatile way of dressing and the celebrities who inspire him when choosing an outfit.
The American football player, who ranks first on this new list, is very proud and excited to be in first place.
I feel very good. Being on this list makes me feel extremely flattered. It is an example of all the work I do on and off the court,”said the athlete of Puerto Rican origin. “It is incredible not only to be on the list, but to be number one. It is something very big”.
Cruz enjoys popularity not only for his work as a wide receiver at the New York Giants, but also for his good taste in dressing.
“I feel like I like different things. I like to wear a suit and look good, but I also like to dress casual and always wear something that represents my personality,”she explained. "I think I dress classic and elegant with a touch of style."
That versatility in dress is not only thanks to his own style, but also to the fashion icons that inspire him.
“I like [the style] of many. It ranges from Pharrell, Johnny Depp, Kanye West, Tom Brady, and many other guys, "he confessed. "I take inspiration from each one of them."
As for her favorite designers, her taste also varies.
