MAC To Launch Selena-inspired Makeup Collection

Great news for Selena fans and makeup lovers: The renowned cosmetics brand MAC will launch a collection inspired by the Queen of Tex-Mex.

The limited edition collection will include various makeup products and will be released in the second half of 2016, according to MAC exclusively to People en Español.

“Selena's talent and beauty, both physical and inward, have made a significant and colorful impact on the world that has continued to grow for the past two decades. We have paid attention to the passion and enthusiasm of her fans and wholeheartedly recognize that her legacy embodies the MAC philosophy. We are very excited to announce a Selena-inspired MAC collection to debut in the second half of 2016,”says MAC Creative Director James Gager in exclusive remarks to People en Español.

Suzette Quintanilla, sister of the deceased performer, participated in the process of creating this collection.

"I am happy that MAC is launching a collection honoring my sister Selena," says Suzette. “Helping to create this collection transports me to those late night talks on our tour bus, when she was talking about one day having her own makeup line. If Selena were here, she would be more than happy that this is happening. History is being made.”
