To the title of number three tennis player in the world, Rafael Nadal will now have to add Tommy Hilfiger's global ambassador for the fall / winter 2015 underwear and tailored collections.
“Rafael Nadal is a lifelong personal friend and follower of our brand. I am continually inspired by his dedication and passion for his sport,”designer Tommy Hilfiger said in a statement.
"This exclusive partnership brings one of the greatest athletes of this generation into our Tommy family," he added. “Rafael embodies an effortless sense of style that exemplifies and reflects our brand spirit. He is safe, fun and cool."
For his part, Nadal also expressed his happiness for this new adventure. "I've always admired Tommy Hilfiger's cool, American designs that are sophisticated and easy to wear," he said. "I am very excited to partner with the brand."
The campaign images will be photographed in early 2015 in Spain and will be published in autumn 2015.
