Material Girl has just named Zendaya Coleman as the new promotional image for her fall collection.
"It is an honor to have been chosen by Madonna and her incredible daughter Lourdes as the new image for Material Girl," Zendaya wrote on her Twitter account.
In the first images of the campaign, the 17-year-old interpreter is seen dressed in a black dress with floral prints and red mary-jane heels on the iconic Coney Island boardwalk in Brooklyn, NY.
“ Zendaya is overflowing with a safe and free spirit. We are very pleased that it is the new advertising image for Material Girl,”said Madonna in a press release.
“I love how Zendaya creates her own style that goes with her personality. That is what the Material Girl line is about, being yourself,”added Lourdes, who together with her mother Madonna launched the line 4 years ago.
Zendaya joins the list of celebrities who have been ambassadors for this line such as Rita Ora, Kelly Osbourne and Georgia May Jagger.
