During Miami Fashion Week, which was recently held in Miami, we spoke with the renowned Spanish designers Custo Dalmau (co-founder of the firm Custo Barcelona) and Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada and the Venezuelan Nicolás Felizola, who shared their advice for the Latin woman look regal in the summer months.

Feel comfortable with your wardrobe
"The most important thing is that everyone has to dress as they feel comfortable with what they are wearing," says Dalmau. "It is very important that you feel yourself with what you wear because you are going to feel better and you are going to project it."
Choose a swimsuit that favors your body
“I almost always wear a full bathing suit. It is not the same when you are 18 years old as when you are an age. I really like whole swimsuits,”says Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, whose summer collection includes colorful swimsuits and fun sunglasses. "For me, summer is being in a swimsuit under a shady tree reading."
Find pieces that highlight your sensuality
“We have caftans, swimsuits, cocktail dresses, dresses for the evening with the captain on the boat or to go to Ibiza, Saint Tropez or Miami and be able to enjoy the atmosphere without losing comfort, sensuality and that characteristic style of mine who is minimalist looking for the silhouette of women,”says Felizola, who presented her new Resort line at Miami Fashion Week.
Wear fashionable but practical accessories
"There are very light pieces such as caftans, robes, mini-dresses, bath lines and accessories," adds Dalmau about his summer collection. “Our main accessories are bags, visors and sunglasses. A good summer portfolio has to be practical. It is not so much the sophisticated evening bags but synthetic materials and cotton canvas"

"Good sunglasses, an excellent portfolio in bright colors to celebrate the liveliness of summer and very good beach sandals," advises the Venezuelan, adding that one of his favorite pieces are kaftans. “They are divine and have wonderful versatility because you can use them over leggings or swimsuits or as a short dress. You can take it from the beach to a cocktail at night simply by accessorizing them.”
