Friday morning I had breakfast with charismatic and always sweet Drew Barrymore, creator of the Flower beauty line sold at Walmart. I adored her! Not only is it as I had imagined it: nice, funny and accessible, but I was surprised by her eloquence and the passion she displayed when talking about her products, as well as her great commercial sense. She also kept talking about her children, the family and the great work that all women do as professionals, mothers and wives, and how beauty is part of that equation.
Flower is a young and modern brand of products, with a range of options and fun colors and with white packaging with touches of very attractive rose gold. In October she launches a new product that is fantastic, which I will comment on later …

Meeting in New York with Cindy Crawford
On the other hand, on Wednesday I had the pleasure of meeting Cindy Crawford at an event in her Meaningful Beauty line. Although I had seen the TV commercials many times and was always amazed at how good the former model still looks, I had never seen her in person. At 45, the iconic model looks spectacular!
During her presentation she was warm, friendly and reminded us of the history of the origin of her line: as a young woman, when she was at the peak of her career, she met the French dermatologist Jean-Louis Sebagh and fascinated with the results she saw on her skin she decided to launch a line of anti-aging creams in collaboration with him. It has been 10 years since the creation of this brand whose success they say is due to a "super" antioxidant in their creams that is obtained from a rare melon in southern France.

What was missing from Clinique's famous skin care system better known as 3-Step-Skin Care System? According to the well-known brand, a cleaning brush that complements the effectiveness of this system that has been one of the most successful on the market. A few days ago, I attended the launch of the Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush that will go on sale at clinique.com at the end of the month and I was delighted with the product for three reasons: it is smaller than other brushes of this type on the market, the bristles are endowed with antimicrobial technology that helps keep it clean and lastly, I loved the oval shape of the brush that allows the exact cleaning of areas of the face that sometimes is more difficult for all of us to reach. It makes perfect sense that Clinique has thought of such a product to update its cleaning system that has been on the market for more than 40 years.
