Gelena Solano Cannot Have Children

Gelena Solano, who has managed to have a happy and stable marriage with the Italian-American businessman Steve Cutuli, has another great dream in her life that has become very difficult to fulfill: to have a son.

"We have tried to have children," says the reporter from El Gordo y la Flaca (Univision) in a broken voice. “I was pregnant and I lost the baby. They told me it was due to stress and then we tried and it turns out that we can't.”

Ten months after saying yes two years ago, Solano and Cutuli celebrated the news that they were pregnant. Unfortunately, that joy was short-lived. "I lost my baby. She was almost four months pregnant,”recalls the also clothing entrepreneur. "Now we keep trying. Steve was even operated on. I have been in treatment for years."

This was not the only setback for Solano. Not being around his family, who resides in Orlando, FL, along with the recent death of his first cousin made him fall into depression. "It is something that has affected me a lot and every night I spend crying and I cannot sleep, it is affecting me emotionally," he confesses. "Sometimes being in front of the camera and saving your feelings is also difficult."
