Alejandro Sanz was the great absentee in the graduation ceremony of the oldest of his four children: Manuela. The young lady, who turns 18 next month and is the result of her relationship with the Mexican model Jaydy Michel, finished her high school studies at a private institute in Guadalajara, Mexico. There she was surrounded by her close family, however her father left a huge gap in such a significant moment.

And why didn't the singer from Madrid come to the appointment? Some media in Spain pointed out that the 50-year-old artist is in the middle of La Gira, his musical tour that is taking him throughout the Motherland. The truth is that the artist did not use his networks to congratulate Manuela, at least not publicly.

The fact recalls the occasion, just a year ago, when Sanz was also conspicuous by his absence at his son Alexander's jazz concert. On that occasion, the artist published an unpublished photo of the minor, publicly apologizing for having failed him.

“He is my son Alexander. The other day I promised to go see his Jazz concert (he plays the trombone with a giant heart) but I failed him and with my damn head full of work things I forgot his concert”, exclaimed Sanz. “[It is] an unforgivable failure on my part and therefore my son. I want to apologize to you in front of everyone. Because there is nothing I want more than you. And because you are a good, talented, intelligent and sensitive boy and you don't deserve that I forget your concert … I hope you will excuse your forgetful father and allow me to make it up to you being the dad you deserve. I love you madly".

However, Sanz may well have plans to celebrate his beloved Manuela privately. Recall that he maintains an excellent relationship with his ex, whom he congratulated when she was expecting her first child with her current husband, the former captain of the Mexican National Team, Rafael Márquez.

Alejandro Sanz's tour will jump the puddle this August 31 for his presentation at the Hulu Theater in New York, later going to Illinois, Texas, Colorado and California, among other states.
