And it is that the actor of Kenyan origin fell in love last year during the recordings of the first season of the series of one of his companions, the Mexican actress Ivana de María, who was also part of the cast of Beauty and the Beasts (Univision).

"It happened in a very natural, very organic way," says Bethke about her romance in an exclusive interview for People en Español. "We started talking one day on the set and she had a face full of dirt and with a belly of pregnancy, then my character kidnapped her, made her lose her son, left her lying in the jungle, treated her fatally and after that I decided to invite her to dinner”, remembers with laughter one of the protagonists of the current Univision star series.

Bethke, who has been dating for just over a year with Ivanna, praises herself when speaking of the woman who managed to conquer her heart after her breakup with Gaby Espino.

"She is an enterprising, empowered, visionary, intelligent, fun, beautiful woman … I am very happy to be able to share time with her," says the actor with a smile from ear to ear.

Ivana, however, is not the only owner of the heart of the Mexican heartthrob. Her daughter Paloma, who lives with her mother in Colombia, also has Bethke 'drooling'.

“My relationship with Paloma is incredible. We are fortunate that we live in the age of technology so it is much easier, the distances are shorter. We talk a lot on video calls and I also have the possibility to travel all the time. The good and the bad thing about my work is that when I am in a project I have to be there and I don't have much time to travel, but when I finish I have time for myself, I have time to go see it, to come to Mexico. So we have a very good relationship, says the proud dad.

If right now you had to leave a message for your daughter to read in the future, the actor, who has more than 15 years of artistic career behind him, is clear about what he would say.

"I would tell her to believe in herself, to believe in her dreams, not to be afraid to do anything, that no one tells her that she cannot achieve what she wants and that she works very hard, that she is disciplined to get where she wants to go. Let it fly very high, "concludes Bethke.
