Julión Álvarez spoke proudly of his newborn baby María Isabel and assured that he was happy to be a father for the first time. So why did you keep your partner's pregnancy secret?
"Gossip has been left over, so I didn't want one more," the Mexican singer replied at a press conference.
Although he kept the pregnancy of his partner Nataly Fernández private, Álvarez said he was enjoying his fatherhood very much. "I am very happy," he said. "I already cut my hair, I already reasoned," he added, laughing, about the changes he has had to make so as not to prick the baby by kissing her.
When asked if he was afraid of having children, he assured: “Fears not. Everything in its time. I'm 35. I was already afraid of not having them.” The artist confessed that even close people were surprised with his revelation that he had had a girl. "There were many friends who did not know," he acknowledged. That is why he caused surprise in April when he shared a video on the social networks of the program Hoy (Televisa) presenting the newborn girl.
The baby arrived at a delicate moment for the singer born in Chiapas, who less than a year ago was singled out by the United States Treasury as drug traffickers. Likewise, he pointed to Jesús Pérez Alvear, friend and colleague of the singer, as a suspect of having ties to drug trafficking.
"I am his friend, I am not his partner in any business, other than in artistic events," said Álvarez, who in early April left the promoter. “I feel happy, sure, we know what path we have traveled and how we have traveled, and more than anything grateful and blessed. It is part of the show [what is said about me],”he assured.
