Candela Ferro exclusively announced on People en Español that she was pregnant with a beautiful babe. Now the Argentine presenter shares more details about her pregnancy.

How did you and your partner Khotán Fernández find out that they were pregnant?

It was in late January. I thought you had eaten something bad. I don't have much experience with this. It was not what we were looking for at the moment. I spent two weeks thinking that I had eaten something and that I had disliked it. My best friend Nina has three children and once I was not feeling well [I went] to her house for tea. She sees my face and immediately took the pregnancy test. She said to me, 'Cande, you are pregnant.' I told him: 'no Nina, I have not done anything different from these ten years'. I go to the bathroom and it is clearer than water. I found out alone at her house. Khotán was in the art studio, he paints. I went looking for him and when we got home I told him. It's something he wanted, he thought about this. There was a certain energy in him that sought him out. There we decided to go ahead and go to the doctor.

Did they have it planned?

It was an absolute surprise. It was conceived in Mexico in a very magical little cabin that her father has there on the outskirts of Mexico. It makes him very happy because it is where he grew up and lived his childhood. There was no search. I would go to the doctor and they would say to me: 'If you want, you will have to do a [fertility] treatment. You're already bigger. ' I was not looking for it. It was on the 10 year anniversary. We fulfilled them last October.

You got scared?

We are already solid, it is something that is not a problem but it profoundly changes our lives. When you are a childless couple you are very free. I was a little more scared but Khotan gave me strength. Immediately his face lit up and he said to me: 'Cande, we are going to continue and we are going to bring a being into the world that is magical'. At 43 you are ready, you are mature. We are so happy with this news that we are going step by step. I don't think about another pregnancy. I am so grateful to destiny, to God. We do not plan things, they happen to us. As a woman I was saying: 'maybe it is not for me or I have to do a treatment if I want to do it'. I'm gratefull.

Do you already know the name they will give your baby?

Names we have some. I like powerful Italian names like Simona, Flora. Khotán likes more strangers, that nobody is called the same. Maybe we wait to meet her, to see her eyes and see her name.
