Marjorie De Sousa Misses Julian Gil At Baby Shower

Six months pregnant, Marjorie de Sousa celebrated her first baby shower last Thursday. Surrounded by family and friends, the Venezuelan actress enjoyed a surprise party organized by her brother Juan Carlos, who will be her son's godfather.

The celebration took place in a Miami restaurant, where people very close to the artist - among them Nicolle, Julián Gil's daughter - gathered to celebrate with her the next arrival of Matías Gil de Sousa, who will be born in February next year in Mexico City.

The baby shower, however, was not all that special that Marjorie would have liked. The absence of Julián Gil, who has been in Spain for a month filming a movie about the life of Jesus of Nazareth, was noted during the celebration.

"We miss you, Julián," said De Sousa along with one of the images he shared on social media of the celebration. How could it be otherwise, Gil's heart broke when he saw the message. "I wanted to be. I love you,”said the 46-year-old actor from a distance.

In another snapshot of the celebration, the former villain of the melodrama Sueño de amor wrote: “We're going to be together baby [Matías]. I love you".

For Julian it is not being easy to live far from Marjorie. The gallant is aware that he is missing important moments of the sweet wait while he is working in Spain. The baby shower was one of them.

“It is being a very tough test. I miss her so much. I have been here a month but when I am back I will have been two months apart, two very important months where Matías is growing,”Gil acknowledged weeks ago to People en Español.

Luckily, as he pointed out then, technology is being of great help. "[Marjorie] sends me many videos of Matías moving, of Matías waking her up at night to eat … Thanks to technology I have been able to be close to them."

In a matter of weeks the couple will be together again to live the final stretch of the pregnancy.
