Carolina Sandoval enjoys her baby Amalia Victoria at home. The Venezuelan presenter from Suelta la sopa (Telemundo) has taken several months off work to care for her newborn daughter. “It is a blessing and a great responsibility. Everything has changed. I think it is these things that make a family become more involved and the couple supports each other,”he says. “Nick is a great husband and an excellent father. At dawn he helps me, he stays with me, he is my right hand”.

Sandoval enjoys breastfeeding her daughter. "I breastfeed the baby, but I supplement with formula because it is a comelone. He also takes off the gases and with me he has been super kind”, she adds about her husband. "From the caesarean section I have not yet recovered, because since I had a placenta infection I am taking antibiotics and my wound still hurts," he confesses.

According to the mother, creating a bond with her newborn and seeing how she relates to her older sister, Bárbara Camila, has been an unforgettable experience. “I love when she looks at me, when I feel that even when she is so little she knows that we love her. I like it when I take it out in the sun. I feel like we do the same things she did when she was in my belly, but now with her out here with us. I love to see her with my oldest daughter. Bárbara Camila and Amalia Victoria look at each other with a love that I can tell them is the call of the blood”.

The Venezuelan advises other newly-born moms not to neglect their physique. “Taking a bath and getting cute I feel better. As the delivery was early, I could not go to my nail and eyebrow appointment, and I solved that by calling my trusted people to do my manicure and pedicure at home, says she, who is taking care of her health and its silhouette.

“For now, I am banned from any type of exercise due to caesarean section, although I confess that I am crazy about going back to spinning. I am drinking a lot of soup and natural juices because I am breastfeeding. I am taking it soft because it took me nine long months to gain weight from my pregnancy and now I cannot pretend to do magic overnight. Everything will be organic”, he concludes.
