Madonna Publishes Photo Of Her Adoptive Children Massaging Her Feet

Madonna has been the target of strong criticism after she uploaded a photo showing her two adoptive children, Mercy and David - who are black - massaging her feet.

"Mother's Love. This is how I will be able to get through the day”, wrote the singer next to the image that she uploaded to her Instagram account. "Mercy and David give the best foot massages."

Although the interpreter seemed like a very cute photo, not all her followers thought the same and began to criticize her.

"This is disrespectful. This country has been built with mistreatment of blacks and American Indians, "commented one of the Queen of Pop's followers under the photo." So this should not be something to photograph and to show off. It is disrespectful in every way."

And although there were many negative comments that were written next to the photo, also many of the singer's fans defended her.

"I see it as normal," wrote one fan. "I also massage my mother's feet."

Madonna adopted David and Mercy in Malawi, Southeast Africa, in 2006 and 2009, respectively.
