Kelly Rowland makes sure to savor every moment she has with her baby Titan Jewell, including the photos she took for the cover of Essence magazine, where she first introduces her first-born.
"The most surprising thing for me is how fast it is growing and all the happiness it has given me," said the singer for her son, on the other hand, in an interview with People magazine.
These moments of joy have been especially significant for Rowland after her mother's sudden death last December, just weeks after her baby was born.
"When she smiled the first time, I cried," said the singer for her baby, the product of her marriage to Tim Weatherspoon. “It was the most beautiful sound I had ever heard. He loves music, he likes it when we dance and sing with him.”
The former Destiny's Child member also assured that her husband has been incredible in her role as dad.
"I have to say that any challenge with the baby that Tim gets in the face of, he goes through with," Rowland said. "He is just the best dad."
And what is the moment that Rowland enjoys the most with his son?
"I love putting him to sleep," he confesses. "I've become an expert at it."
