Alejandra Espinoza is already a mom. The television presenter gave birth on Wednesday to her first-born, Aiden Matteo Marrero Espinoza.

The boy was born today at 5:28 pm, measured 20 inches and weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces.

"Matteo Marrero was BORN!" Excitedly tweeted the happy dad, Aníbal Marrero. "#WelcomeMatteo, we are waiting for you both @AleEspinozaTV and me".

According to the program El gordo y la flaca (Univisión), the presenter had been admitted Tuesday night at the Mercy hospital in the city of Miami, where her baby was born.

"Ale's condition is excellent, although she did not have a normal pregnancy, so to speak, but she is fine," Alejandra's father, José, told reporter Jessica Cediel, before the birth of her grandson.

The proud grandfather said he felt "nervous, excited, awake."

For her part, the presenter's husband did not leave her for a moment, a friend and comadre of Alejandra told the program.

Although she had said that she wanted to have a “natural delivery, with a lot of pain”, in the end the winner of Nuestra Belleza Latina 2007 accepted that the epidural be applied, her father said.

The new mother's brother, Ángel, was also present and, like the others, was wearing a white T-shirt with a drawing on the front and the hashtag #BienvenidaMatteo.
