Barbara Bermudo Reveals The Details Of Her Pregnancy

After returning from a trip to Mexico in October with her husband, Bárbara Bermudo already suspected that something was happening to her. The pregnancy test that was done at her home in Miami confirmed her feeling.

“Mario was sleeping and I said to him: 'You know what? I'm pregnant 'and I'm on my way. And he, half asleep, says to me: 'Why are you doing this to me?'”Bermudo tells People en Español laughing, about the somewhat abrupt way in which she shared the news with her husband, the presenter of Noticias 23 (Univisión) Mario Andrés Moreno.

“I woke up around 6 in the morning because I had a feeling. When he gets up he gives me a hug,”recalls the co-host of Primer Impacto (Univisión), who announced her third pregnancy on the air on her show on Monday.

Before making it known, those responsible for First Impact used social media to create expectations. "We had an interaction with the public through social networks asking them who was pregnant," says Bermudo. “We put even Tony Dandrades on the belly and everyone thought it was Pamela. When we broke the news, even the production team was surprised.”

Of course, its co-presenter Pamela Silva, 33, was already aware. In addition to sharing the set, they share a dressing room and are friends. “Pamela is my accomplice, I see Pamela more than my own mother or my husband. Pamela is my confidant. She was happy and kept the secret until yesterday,”added the 39-year-old Puerto Rican, who launched Cami, a perfume for girls in March.

Although Moreno, 46, already has five children - his two daughters with Bermudo and three from a previous marriage - the Colombian journalist is very excited. Mario is a Feliciano. He can have 20 children and is still experiencing the same emotion and the same happiness,”jokes Bermudo, who had severe nausea, vomiting, and tiredness in his first trimester, but is already feeling better after four months of pregnancy.

Others who do not fit with happiness are their daughters Mia, 5, and Camila, 4. “They are now in that stage of playing mom and they are enjoying it. They come up to me in the morning and they kiss me on the belly, they talk to the baby,”says Bermudo. “They are already planning everything in the house, conducting the orchestra. They are already doing the complete itinerary of who is going to change his diaper and who is going to give him the bottle at night”.

He knows that sleepless nights await him, but Bermudo claims to be enjoying this third visit of the stork. "It is a great blessing to receive this new baby in our lives," he highlights, while ensuring that he does not yet know sex. "Everyone says it's a boy. I would like a girl. I would love the boy, but with a girl I would be happy because the routine is already done with my daughters and I see myself with a girl. What I ask of God is that a healthy baby come to fill us with a lot of love.”
