Comedian Jimmy Kimmel and his wife Molly McNearney have welcomed their first daughter, Jane, on Thursday, her representative confirmed to People.
"Congratulations to my beautiful and very brave Molly for giving birth to our little daughter this morning," Kimmel, 46, tweeted this morning. "Thank you for all your heartfelt congratulations - after all, not all tweets are mean!"
The 36-year-old mom jokingly added, “Kids, don't take drugs. Until they have a baby. So take them all."
The couple, who chose not to know the sex of the baby before it was born, announced their happy wait in February.
"Molly is in very good health!" Her representative told People.
Kimmel and his wife, the main screenwriter for their show Jimmy Kimmel Live! (ABC), they started dating in 2009, got engaged during a safari in Africa in 2012, and were married in July of last year.
The presenter has two children from a previous marriage: Kevin, 20, and Katie, 22.
