For Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras, paternity changed his life.
“Being a parent is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It gives me concentration and dedication, which has really helped me become a better athlete,”the athlete explains to People en Español.
Figueras tries to instill in his four children - Hilario, Aurora, Artemino and little Alba - the values and teachings that his father inherited from him.
“I have learned everything from my father. He was and is a great father, and now that I am also a father, I realize where he was going with so many things that I did not understand at the time,”he tells us. "Most importantly, it taught me that nothing is impossible if you really want it and work hard to get it."
The Argentine, married to the photographer Delfina Blaquier, is the brand ambassador Ralph Lauren, something that is a game for his children.
“They find it funny that their dad is in the commercials, so they really enjoy it. They also appear in some television commercials and they love doing it, he says.
