Jason Biggs of the Netflix television series Orange Is the New Black and his wife, Jenny Mollen, have welcomed their first child, Sid, on Saturday, February 15, they announced on Instagram.
Sid was born in Los Angeles at 5:33 a.m., and weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and is 21 1/4 inches.
"He has a lot of hair, and a very large penis," Mollen, 34, joked, commenting on the first photo of his son. "Mommy feels good and is a fan of dilaudid (a pain reliever)."
Seriously, she added: “We express our appreciation to all Cedars-Sinai nurses and staff. They were all the best”.
Mollen shared the happy news in a series of videos showing the couple on the way to the hospital.
“You were great, my dear. I am so proud of you,”said Biggs, 35, in a video after the delivery. "It is beautiful - incredibly cute."
The baby was due to be born on February 4. Mollen had expressed her frustration at being pregnant for 41 weeks.
"I feel like she's been pregnant since the mid-1990s," she recently tweeted. "I think I will have my second baby before I have the first."
Biggs and Mollen were married in April 2008.
