The Mexican and the güero, the new soap opera that Nicandro Díaz will produce for Televisa, already has what will be its highest confirmed star. And no, it is not Silvia Navarro despite the fact that the renowned Mexican producer admitted weeks ago that he was in talks with the beautiful actress.
The person in charge of giving life to the main character of this new melodrama, a kind of villain that will shake her male heartthrob, will finally be Itatí Cantoral, who has starred for the television series with successful fictions such as Until the money separates us and Silvia Pinal in front to you.
"Yes, I'm going to do the soap opera by Nicandro," the Mexican actress, who has 1 million followers on Instagram, confirmed in a recent meeting with the press.
The 44-year-old interpreter will share credits in this story with the Argentine actor Juan Soler, whom we can see on Univision screens at 3 p.m. EST, as the protagonist of the melodrama I Declare Guilty, a story he recorded in 2017.

"Juan Soler is going, I am very happy," she said.
The Mexican and the guero will narrate the story of a handsome American man who will travel to Mexico in search of his biological family after his adoptive mother asks him on his deathbed.
"So he comes to Mexico to look for his family and here is a great villain," Nicandro said weeks ago in an interview for Televisa Espectáculos.
The soap opera, whose full cast will be uncovered over the next few days, will begin filming very soon in Mexico.
The premiere of the melodrama is scheduled for the second half of the year.
