Among the rumors and paparazzi shots, it seems that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have kinda gone Insta official.

After what sounded like a difficult 2016 (seriously, so glad 2016 is over, right?), We're pretty sure that 2017 is going to be Selena Gomez's year. The star has spoken up about what she learned last year, and has been killing it with some flawless Insta pictures recently. What's more, we have her collaboration with Coach to look forward to, the singer's brand new Netflix show, and she's even shared some behind the scenes action from the recording studio with her songwriting partners and BFFs Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels, who just launched her own solo career.

Well, following some pretty intense rumors and speculation, it seems that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have, in the most millennial way possible, confirmed that they're, well, doing whatever it is they're doing

As some beady eyed fans have spotted, it seems that Selena and The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye) have decided to show their admiration for each other by following each other on Instagram.

Okay, we know what you're going to say… that, like, totally doesn't mean anything. However, we're willing to say that mutually following each other on Instagram is just of the many new ways dating has changed throughs social media. Or, they could just be huge fans of each other's photography (well, Selena is the most followed person on Insta).

Meanwhile, “a source” told E! News that the two singers couldn't… keep their hands to themselves (sorry).

"Selena was focusing on getting herself back together and The Weeknd was just getting out of a relationship, plus putting out his new album," they said. "He thinks she is extremely talented and sexy."

The “source” also said how the pair were texting every day, but that they were taking everything slowly.

"They have a really sexy and flirty relationship," the insider said. "They laugh and like each other's personalities."

Whatever is going on with Selena and The Weeknd, we're just happy that SelGo seems to be happy and healthy at the moment, and is throwing herself into her music. We can't wait to see what she's been cooking up on the studio… maybe The Weeknd might feature on a track, too?
