Jenicka López knows first hand what it is to receive offensive comments on social networks in relation to her appearance, but she is determined that nothing will separate her from her objective.

“They criticize me for my curves and for what I wear [clothes], and it makes me nervous because sometimes they criticize me a lot and very ugly. But that motivates me,”the 21-year-old Mexican American confessed to People en Español. “My mom had super sexy curves, I really appreciated them. She gave me this body and it is a tribute to her because I look like her and in everything I do I have her in mind”.

Precisely to fulfill to the letter the wishes of the Diva de la Banda is that she abandoned her studies as a teacher to compete with the plus-size model Ashley Graham and dedicate herself fully to beauty tutorials on YouTube.

"He always told me to follow my dreams and to do it well, and I think I am doing it," said López, who sometimes makes up her sister Chiquis Rivera. “When I upload a photo on social networks I like to look good, to do it well, so that other girls see that it is possible, so they don't feel sorry.
