Puerto Rican actress and Un Nuevo Día (Telemundo) co-host Adamari López and Venezuelan actress and beauty maven Gaby Espino will be among the many Latin celebs attending Poderosas Live! 2019, a one-day event that is free and open to the public, taking place on Saturday, March 16 from 9:30 am to 6 pm at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami.

Each year, this event convenes prominent Latina businesswomen, community leaders, activists and artists for thought-provoking panel discussions and keynote addresses injecting the invaluable voice of Hispanic women into the forefront of the conversation around the future of business. Powerful Live! gives attendees access to experts, panels and workshops in the areas of finance, leadership, health, entrepreneurship, professional development as well as fun activities like makeovers.

Scary' 7.3 Magnitude Earthquake In Venezuela Is Area's 'Largest Historic Event' In Centuries

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake rocked Venezuela on Tuesday after hitting off the coast near Yaguaraparo in a disaster authorities have called the “largest historic event” since 1900, reports say. No injuries or deaths were reported, but the quake caused structural damage to many buildings in the South American country, Venezuela's Interior Ministry said, according to CNN.
