Coronavirus: Grandfather Meets His Grandson Through A Window

Like many others in the world, a grandfather in Ireland has had to postpone until no one knows when the excitement of carrying a grandson for the first time and being content to see him with the window glass in between.

The image shared as hot cakes on social networks shows the newborn baby, Faolán, in the arms of his father, Míchéal Gallachoir, who has approached him to a window so that his grandfather can see him, even with a window in between..

"Three generations of social distancing when my father meets his grandson for the first time," was the message with which Emma Gallachoir accompanied the image.

The photo that was taken by the mother. Emma was released by her sister-in-law, who also has the same name, on Saturday, March 21 on her Twitter account. It's been shared 97,000 times and has more than 728,000 likes.

A day after Emma revealed the image, she published another tweet in which she thanked all the messages that her family has received welcoming the little boy and assured that, in addition to being healthy, he is "oblivious to his new fame".

COVID-19 cases in Ireland have been increasing. So far there are more than 2,600 confirmed cases and 46 deaths related to the new virus, according to a report cited by the Reuters agency.
