A 34-year-old man was arrested in Chicago and accused of sexually abusing a three-year-old girl in the bathroom of a McDonald's restaurant.

According to police sources, the events occurred around 8:20 pm last Monday when the victim's father accompanied his two children to the toilet. The man went into a bathroom with his youngest son and his daughter went to the attached bathroom. Suddenly the suspect, who goes by the name of Christopher Puente, entered the toilet and placed the girl on his knees to start touching her.

The girl began to shout "daddy, daddy", according to prosecutors, but the subject, who is deaf, covered his mouth to prevent his screams from being heard. However, the father, who was a short distance away, managed to listen to his daughter and tried to get her out of the lower part of the bathroom, which was stuck.

Later, the father placed himself outside the urinal to wait for the suspect, who inadvertently fled. However, his image was captured by security cameras in videos that were essential to stop him. Police were notified of what happened and hunted down the subject, according to FOX News in Chicago.

Last Wednesday, Puente was arrested in a Windy City business and accused of sexual felony against a 13-year-old girl. The subject had a long criminal history that included at least four arrests, according to multiple sources, and now has a court date set for March 10.

According to Telemundo-Chicago, the subject accepted his responsibility in the events and admitted that what he had done "was not right", but at the same time alleged that he was drugged at the time of what happened.

"We are devastated by the terrible incident," spokesmen for MacDonald's said on their account. "As soon as we realized what had happened, we contacted the authorities to cooperate."
