Dashun Montae Bush, a young father of 19, was arrested in Alabama and formally charged with child abuse after allegedly repeatedly attacking his daughter, just three months old, leaving her with a broken arm, leg and 22 ribs.
The subject was detained last week in the town of Wilsonville, located in Shelby County, north of Montgomery, the state capital.
Caldera municipal police reported that the mother of the minor was the one who took her to the hospital in early December when they realized that she was not in good health.
Doctors examined the baby and discovered that her little body had a fractured arm, leg and 22 ribs. The multiple wounds were already in different states of healing when the minor arrived at the hospital, according to court documents obtained by FOX-5.
The minor was placed in the custody of the state authorities. For his part, Montae Bush was released after posting bail of $ 60,000. It is unknown if he has legal representation.
