Former first lady Barbara Bush was hospitalized in the same center where her husband, former President George HW Bush, is admitted, spokesmen for the family said Wednesday.
The 92-year-old former president is in the intensive care unit of the Houston Methodist Hospital after being presented with breathing problems derived from pneumonia that he suffers, and that forced surgery to relieve and protect his airways.
His wife was later hospitalized this morning in the same center with a medical picture of fatigue and cough.
The former president had to enter the hospital last weekend and was being treated with antibiotics, but apparently his situation worsened and forced him to be sedated for surgery.
