Just a few weeks ago, it was the 15th anniversary of the premiere of Rebelde, the successful televisa youth telenovela produced by Pedro Damián between 2004 and 2006 and that marked an entire generation of young people during the 2000s.
The story starred by Anahí, Alfonso Herrera, Dulce María, Maite Perroni and company saw the artistic careers of many of the 'students' of the 'Elite Way School' born in their recording forums.
This was the case of Rodrigo Nehme, who gave life to Nico, a young Jew who hid his religious beliefs to avoid being discriminated against and who lived a love story with Lupita (Perroni) during the first season of the soap opera.
Unlike other Rebelde actors like Eddy Vilard (Teo) or Estefanía Villarreal (Celina), Rodrigo has been away from television in recent years - the actor was last seen in a soap opera in 2009 when he played Lorenzo in Mar de amor, melodrama starring Zuria Vega and Mario Cimarro.
The actor, however, has continued to maintain contact with his followers through social networks, especially on Instagram, where he has an active presence.
Thanks to them, we can not only know what life is like today for the unforgettable Nico de Rebelde, but also see what he looks like now at almost 37 years old.
Although his face remains the same, the actor looks physically very changed, starting with his hair, which now brings him short, unlike Rebelde.
In addition to his love of motorcycles and travel, the actor frequently boasts on Instagram how in love he is with a beautiful young woman named Denise Thuss.
Rodrigo continues to have contact with some of his Rebelde colleagues, such as Zoraida Gomez (José Luján), with whom he was recently seen on his social networks.
Far from denying his past in Rebelde, the actor often recalls on Instagram frequently that stage of his life that undoubtedly marked a before and after in his career.
