Rafael Amaya's Sister Defends Mexican Actor

Disappeared more than a year ago from the media focus, Rafael Amaya continues to show no signs of life through social media. The Mexican actor, who shared his last publication on Instagram in April 2018, has also not granted an interview, much less paraded on the red carpet of an event since his character, the drug trafficker Aurelio Casillas, was in a coma in The lord of the skies and therefore the 42-year-old interpreter suddenly stopped appearing in the successful Telemundo superset.

Amaya's absence of more than a year from public life has generated many speculations on social networks and different media about the whereabouts of the actor, as well as his uncertain future in the veteran fiction of the Spanish-speaking network.

Although we still have no news from him, today it is already a fact that the soap opera lover concluded his cycle - voluntarily or involuntarily, we do not know - in The Lord of the Skies since this week, during the premiere of the seventh season of the superset, we were able to witness the death of his character, Aurelio Casillas.

Just a few days before the scene of his death aired, the actor's sister dedicated a few words of support to the interpreter through her Instagram profile, which now, after knowing the tragic outcome of her character, make sense.

“It is clear to me that it will only be in a few chapters of this new season. But it is not clear to me who are the ones who are talking,”asked an intrigued fan of the actor.
