Empress Anthrax Death

The Attorney General's Office in Sinaloa released the official cause of death for Claudia Ochoa Félix, better known by the name of Empress Anthrax.

The body of the also called "Kim Kardashian of Organized Crime" was found on Saturday, September 13, inside a private home in the Isla Musala subdivision, in Culiacán.

Juan José Ríos Estavillo, State Attorney General, informed local media that after an analysis of the body of the 35-year-old woman, experts determined that she had died of an overdose.

"In the corresponding report, an analysis is made of the various intakes that person had saved, and those analyzes were positive," said the official in statements reproduced by the Mexican newspaper Milenio. "All this caused a condition in his body that was what caused his death."

Her death was specifically due to suffocation and bronchial aspiration and was classified as nonviolent.

The Empress of Anthrax was last seen at a local nightclub accompanied by a man. The pair returned to the designated home and the next morning when he went to wake her up in Ochoa she no longer responded.

Local authorities attested to the discovery of the body around 6:50 p.m. Her body was handed over to the relatives after the corresponding expert reports.

The self-proclaimed model had been linked to the famous Sinaloa Cartel for its alleged relationship with José Rodrigo Arechiga, alias the Chinese Anthrax, armed arm of said criminal organization.
