Porn star Jessica Jaymes died at 43. The Los Angeles County medical examiner's office informed PEOPLE that Jaymes - whose real name is Jessica Michael Redding - was found unconscious at her home in the San Fernando Valley in California on Tuesday. The actress - who also had a role in the Weeds series - was pronounced dead at 4:20 pm and the cause of her death is still under investigation.

Jaymes' husband told authorities he found her at her North Hills home unconscious after going to see how she was worrying when she did not respond to him for several days, The Blast reported. Paramedics answered a call about a woman who had had cardiac arrest, The Blast and TMZ reported. According to TMZ, Jaymes had a history of epileptic seizures.

The adult entertainment star was born in Alaska and debuted in porn movies in 2002. The actress was the first model to receive an exclusive contract from Hustler Video. Jaymes then co-founded her own porn movie company Spizoo in 2008.

She also had a special performance on the television series Weeds and was invited to the Howard Stern show, in addition to being part of VH1's reality show Celebrity Rehab Sober House and HBO's docuserie Vivid Valley.
