Porn Actress Arrested For Trying To Hire Hitman

Katrina Danforth, a porn actress, was arrested at a Washington state airport on Wednesday after she allegedly tried to hire a hitman to kill a person.

Danforth, 31, who was known under the name Lynn Pleasant in the adult film industry, was arrested at Spokane International Airport and charged with five counts, Fox News reports.

Federal officials have yet to reveal the victim's name or describe the motive behind the alleged scheme, but attorney Traci J. Whelan revealed that the conspiracy was directed at an Idaho resident.

Katrina, whom prosecutor James Goeke described Wednesday as "at serious risk of flight and danger to the community," has been charged with interstate commerce in the murder-for-hire commission, according to the indictment. Goeke asked that she be detained without bail.

The actress told NBC affiliate KHQ news station in Washington while in the Spokane County Jail that she was arrested by federal agents "very early in the morning" and did not know why.

Danforth revealed that she was on vacation in Hawaii before her arrest and that she was "shocked" to be handcuffed.

As for his case, Danforth told the news station to "wait and see what happens."

Danforth faces up to 10 years in prison and a $ 250,000 fine for each count if convicted.
