Chiquis Rivera declared herself "a happy aunt" and a "proud stepmother" by sharing an intimate photograph of one of the most important days of her life.
To congratulate her brother Mikey's daughter on her birthday, the singer published an exclusive image with her nieces and the daughter of her now husband Lorenzo Méndez that was taken on her wedding day. In the photo, dressed in white to match the bride, her sister Jacqie's daughters also pose with her.
"Blessed among so much beauty," wrote the eldest daughter of the late Jenni Rivera, with the hashtags "happy aunt" and "proud stepmother."
In the publication dedicated to her niece Luna, a smiling girl with autism, Chiquis thanks her for bringing her so much happiness and reminding her how to live her life.
“My sweet, happy, happy Luna Bear! Seven years ago today, you blessed our lives in many ways and more than you can imagine. Every time I am with you, you remind me of how I want to live my life… free, excited and relaxed, all at the same time,”Chiquis said in the emotional message. Happy birthday to our lifeguard. Aunt loves you to infinity and beyond”.
The photograph is one of the few images that the singer has shared of her wedding after that eventful day when members of the security guarding the private event and journalists who came to cover it collided.
