Far from what you might think, Meghan Markle did not rest during her pregnancy and out of the public eye the Duchess of Sussex kept busy while waiting for the arrival of her first-born Archie Harrison in May.

Aside from editing the September issue of the British version of Vogue magazine, which included Mexican actress Salma Hayek, the former actress made secret visits to the Smart Works foundation that helps unemployed women rebuild their confidence and skills to return to the labor field.

Through a series of photographs published on the Dukes of Sussex's official website, Markle can be seen sharing with several clients during their visits to the foundation, which inspired the recent line of clothing for working women created by the Duchess and your designer friends.

"After secret visits to Smart Works over the past year, the Duchess was touched by the impressive work done by this nonprofit organization that helps women return to the workplace, equipping them with the skills and clothing they need to feel prepared.", says the caption.

For her part, the recently released 37-year-old mother, through Vogue, revealed that the collection of work clothes that will benefit the foundation imitates the “one-on-one” model where for each item that is purchased, another will be donated.

"This will not only allow us to be part of each other's history, but it will remind us that we are doing it together," wrote Markle.
