Chiquis Rivera And Lorenzo Méndez Affected By Comments On The Networks

As they see it, Lorenzo Méndez is a very sensitive man. That is why the criticisms against him and his wife Chiquis Rivera do not stop affecting him.

"We are real people and reading negative comments [on social media], it is very difficult all that," the singer exclusively told People en Español. "I was nailed and it affects me much more than Chiquis."

It is precisely his wife who recommends Méndez to turn a deaf ear to all those criticisms. "[Chiquis] is more like dolphin skin, many things are slipping off him," confessed with a laugh the singer, who will appear in the next season of the reality show The Riveras, which premieres in August. "But she is human and even if she denies it, many things reach [her heart]."

In fact, the media mess that formed at their wedding greatly affected the couple. "We know that these negative comments do not come from good hearts and are with bad intentions," said Méndez. “So we block that and think about what kind of people we are. When we realize that we are good people, those types of comments do not affect us. But Chiquis has helped me a lot”.

To show his love and gratitude, Lorenzo wrote the song "Sincerely Your Husband" to his wife.

“We have been married for a month and we still have the adrenaline of the wedding, we are hardly going to go on our honeymoon,” he admitted laughingly. “I do feel that [the whole relationship] has changed. Chiquis says that I behaved more macho after being married. I love our days together, and I married my best friend."
