Cardi B and Bernie Sanders joined forces and discussed the future of the United States. The rapper with Dominican roots and the American senator sat down to talk about politics. The 26-year-old urban music star shared a photo on Instagram of her meeting with the Democratic candidate for president of the United States in 2020.

According to CNN reports, they met to record an educational video for younger voters and also discussed various issues of importance to the country such as student debt, climate change and the minimum wage.

"Thank you Bernie Sanders for sitting with me and sharing your plans for how you will change the country," Cardi B wrote on Instagram. “A few weeks ago I asked my followers that if they had the opportunity to ask a Democratic candidate something, what would it be? They sent me a lot of requests and I selected the most popular questions to be answered.”

The singer added that she will soon share Sanders' responses. "Stay tuned to see how he will fight for economic, racial and social justice for all," Cardi B wrote on Instagram, where he has more than 48 million followers. Together, we are going to build a movement of young people to transform this country. Let's learn about our candidates!”

The 77-year-old Vermont senator also shared photos of him with Cardi B on his social media. The video of the conversation of both will soon be released.
