Why Did Kate Middleton Talk To Prince George About The Holocaust?

During London's ceremony today in honor of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Kate Middleton revealed that she and Prince William have already spoken to their children about the terrible tragedy that ravaged the Jews.

This is what the Duchess of Cambridge told one of the survivors, Mala Tribich, during the reception and after the solemn and moving ceremony, when she asked about her family: "This morning we discussed all this with the children," said Kate. "But we have to be, you know … She's only six years old. What can you understand…”added this 38-year-old mother, referring to the fact that she had to be very careful when choosing the words that explain to her young son the cruelty of the death of six million Jews at the hand of the Nazis.

"So many families torn apart by this trauma that continues generation after generation …" George, Charlotte and Louis' mom said to the audience at the end of the reception: "So many touching stories …".

The Dukes of Cambridge also encountered twelve survivors of different genocides during the event, not only because of the Nazis, but also other victims from Rwanda, Bosnia, Cambodia and Darfur. Kate and William also accompanied the survivors during the lighting of six candles, representing the six million people killed in the holocaust.

The last time we saw the Dukes of Cambridge with their children was during the last Christmas mass in Sandringham, where they went alone with the two eldest. Like every time they are seen, Charlotte and George delighted the fans of the royals.
