A Brooklyn woman is under arrest after unleashing a violent and racist dispute aboard a New York train.

The incident occurred Tuesday around 8:30 a.m. on a subway traveling north. The provocateur of the altercation, Anna Lushchinskaya, 40, faces assault charges after she blasphemed a 24-year-old Asian woman and beat her with an umbrella and the handle on her keys.

Videos on social media of the incident show what Lushchinskaya is apparently doing. The racist insults, the kicks and the blows he launched against the victim are clearly seen in the images. Several passengers tried to intervene and make the woman calm down, but were unable to prevent her from continuing to attack.

The victim suffered facial injuries and a good Samaritan who intervened also suffered scratches.

"I'm lucky she didn't have anything like weapons, like a knife, a gun, because it could have gotten much worse," the victim, who wants to remain anonymous, told ABC News. “I am lucky that there are people on the train who were helping me, especially the first Asian man to stop in front of me right away because he was not recording. He just stood in front of me to help me, because I know other people were recording, but the recordings did nothing until later."

The dispute began after the assailant collided with the victim, police said.

Lushchinskaya was immediately arrested and put behind bars on 36th Street.

Lushchinskaya already had a record. A June criminal complaint shows that she was charged in June in connection with another fight on the train. According to the complaint, Lushchinskaya allegedly sprayed a man on the train with pepper at the same station.
