Actress Silvia Navarro expressed her frustration at not being able to present the show "Where the worlds collapse", on Tuesday night, because the production team was a victim of crime.
Through a video published on her instagram account, the Mexican woman reported that the presentation in Irapuato, Mexico, was canceled due to the situation experienced by several staff members traveling on the road.
"One of the trucks in which we were on the road was robbed with part of the equipment and the production," the actress explains in dismay in the video. “They are fine, however it will be impossible to give the functions. We are very sorry for what is happening and we regret not being able to be with you.”
The production office said the staff was out of danger, without giving further details.
It is not yet known whether Osvaldo Benavides, the protagonist of the play, was traveling in the van that was assaulted. At the moment, the actor has not spoken about it.
This incident is in addition to the wave of violence that attacks members of the show in the Aztec country, including Andrea Legarreta, who was the victim of robbery in her own home.
