Cesar Sayoc Jr., 56, was arrested in Florida on Friday on suspicion of being responsible for a wave of bomb packages that were sent to a dozen Democrats and party supporters.
At least 12 prominent figures were targeted by these packages, which began to be distributed earlier in the week. They include former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, actor Robert DeNiro and billionaire George Soros.
Authorities managed to capture Sayoc this Friday morning thanks to DNA samples taken from the bomb packages and phone records. The subject was in a store in the town of Plantation, South Florida. Now his records demonstrate his long history of brushing with authority and his apparent radicalization.

1.- He is from New York
Sayoc was born in Brooklyn County but has apparently lived in different parts of Florida for more than a decade. Documents obtained by People en Español prove that he is a registered Republican voter in that southern state and that his last electoral participation was in 2016.
2.- He had a violent temperament and a long criminal record
Sayoc has been arrested multiple times for various crimes, including robbery, assault, steroid trafficking, and fraud. You have filed for bankruptcy on at least one occasion. In 2002, he was accused of "throwing, placing, projecting or unloading a destructive device", that is, being responsible for a bomb threat. He was sentenced to one year of bail.
3.- He is a bodybuilder, worked in a strip club and a fan of President Donald Trump
Photos circulating on networks reveal the suspect posing with multiple trophies and showing his burly body and it is deduced from his networks that he worked in a strip club. The man was driving around Aventura - his city of residence - with a van upholstered with prints with different pro-Republican slogans, photos of President Trump, aggressive legends against HIllary Clinton and other Democrats. Residents remember the vehicle as something that called "attention".
4.- White, Filipino or American Indian?
Although Sayoc declared himself to be "white" - according to documents obtained by People en Español - reports indicate that his grandfather was a doctor born in the Philippines and who performed surgeries to make his clients appear more western. Other sources indicate that Sayoc belongs to the Seminole Indian tribe, which he apparently boasted about in his networks and with stickers on his van.
5.- Republican radicalized?
Various photos and videos circulating on the Internet show the suspect wearing the characteristic red cap that has made the president famous with the legend 'MAGA' (Make America Great Again). Sayoc also appears on a political rally in Florida supporting the president with a banner that read "CNN sucks." The Atlanta-based chain was also targeted by its bomb packages at its New York offices.
