It seems that Aaron Schlossberg, the "racist" lawyer will not see the tranquility soon after insulting a group of people for speaking Spanish in New York.

Days after the event was the cause of multiple protests - apart from Internet teasing and memes - police and firefighters from the Big Apple went to the lawyer's old office after being alerted of an envelope full of white powder that arrived at the lawyer's building.

The letter, addressed to Schlossberg, was delivered around 3:30 p.m., police told the New York Daily News. NYPD anti-terrorism authorities arrived, but the powder was deemed harmless and no one was injured.

Now the police are trying to locate the sender.

The video of Schlossberg, 42, insulting employees of the Kitchen Fresh restaurant in Manhattan, went viral for the use of his words that included a threat to call the restaurant workers not speaking English to immigration officials.

A week after the event, the lawyer issued a statement via Twitter with his apologies for what happened.

"One of the reasons I moved to New York is precisely because of the great diversity that exists in this magnificent city," he said. "[I love America] for its immigrants and diversity of cultures."

The apologies came a little late and after a group of activists decided to serenade him in his "favorite" language and at the gates of his home in Manhattan with everything and mariachis.
